CITIC Special Steel has had two medium & thick plate production lines, one is 3500-mm steckel mill production line, the other is 4300-mm wide & heavy plate production line, and equipped with normalizing, tempering and other heat treatment production lines. The annual production capacity of medium & heavy plate reaches 2.85 million tons. The main products cover pipeline steel, steel for ship & ocean engineering,structural steel, vessel steel, special steel for special purpose and other medium & thick plates.
